Birds of Fiji

There are more than 150 species of birds in the Fiji Islands. This is probably because of the tropical climate of the 300 islands that constitute it.

The national bird of these islands is the Collared Lory. Other endemic species include the Fiji Banded Rail, the Fiji Bush Warbler, and the Fiji Gerygone.
