Dangerous Animals

Several wild animals, be they large or small, possess the ability to harm humans or even kill them. While wildlife like lions, crocodiles, and sharks use their claws and teeth, others like spiders and snakes are dangerous because of the venom they possess.

In most cases, attacks occur when humans approach these animals in the wild. If disturbed, it should not be unexpected that these creatures try to defend themselves. When these animals are cornered, injured, protecting their offspring or group, or in heat, they will likely lash out.

There have been incidents when animals have entered human habitats like homes and farms in search of food, especially if their regular food sources in the wild are becoming scarce. Confrontations in these situations may lead to injury, even death.

However, compared to most species listed below, humans have killed each other far more to the point one can consider them to be among the most dangerous species in the world.
