Birds of Libya

About 350 birds live in Libya. Once a pioneer in wildlife protection, nowadays, a lot of these avifauna are hunted either for sport or for food. Over 500,000 members of various avian species are killed annually.

Some of the notable species seen here include the Barbary Falcon, the Desert Sparrow, and the Saker Falcon.
