Some of the best birding sites in Saint Lucia include Des Cartiers Rainforest, Millet Bird Sanctuary, Barre de l’Isle Forest Reserve, Mamiku Gardens, and Pigeon Island National Park. The peak season for birdwatching in St. Lucia typically falls between December and April. This period coincides with the island’s dry season, when the weather is generally more pleasant, and there is less rainfall. The dry season is also the breeding season for many bird species, which makes it an excellent time for birdwatching.
