Birds of Angola

Angola is home to several endemic birds, with western Angola even declared an Endemic Bird Area (EBA) by BirdLife International. This is because of the presence of several avian species in the area restricted to that range.

The national bird of Angola is the Red-crested Turaco, a species endemic to the country.
