Birds of Namibia

About 700 birds are living in Namibia currently. As Namibia is one of the few nations to have conservation of natural resources as part of its constitution, the country’s avifauna can thrive freely.

The national bird of Namibia is the African Fish Eagle. Other notable species include the Cape Vulture, the Blue Crane, and the Marabou Stork.
