Birds of Kenya

There are close to 1200 avian species in the African nation of Kenya. Quite a few of the avifauna live in game reserves and national parks of the country.

Kenya actually has two national birds. Not only is the beautiful lilac-breasted roller one of them but the domestic chicken is also considered one.
